Re–blog from Silicon Alley Insider.

Stimulus Package Stimulates New Creative Scam

Be cautious: new scam spread via e–mail.

If you get a e–mail from an unknown source never click a link in it. I just throw them away and I suggest you do the same. No serious person, company or institute will contact you regarding an important and/or urgent matter through e–mail only. Don’t be afraid to throw it away, if it’s really important you’ll get the message in a different medium.

This is one reason why it’s very important that you share information about yourself to others. They should have your address, home, work and mobile number, your Facebook and Twitter accounts, etc. In this way you can feel confident that anyone who really needs to get in contact with you will.
